Black History Celebration

Every October we mark Black History Month, and in 2018 we did it the way we do most things — by putting people who had built something in a room with people who were still building.

The evening paired a panel discussion with open networking. The panel brought together Black role models talking honestly about the routes they had taken, and what they would tell someone starting out now. The rest of the night was for conversation.

The aim was simple: celebrate the month properly, and send people home with a name and a number they did not have when they arrived.
